Using CASIO ClassPad 300 Spreadsheet Application in Mathematics Classes

Abstract

The CASIO ClassPad 300 application family has a new member: Spreadsheet Application. It is, in many directions, as powerful as specialized spreadsheet programs on computers, offering an inexpensive solution to everyone who needs a practical and flexible tool for spreadsheet calculations. In the workshop we show how it can be efficiently used in classrooms for enhancing Mathematics and Science courses. The workshop will be an hands-on experience on the most important spreadsheet operations using common problems from high-school and college Mathematics. Thus, the knowledge gained during the workshop can instantly be applied into relevant courses.
