Engaging Students in Learning Algebra and Function With ClassPad 300

Abstract

The eActivity mode of ClassPad 300 is a technology that could be a mathematics teacher's platform to engage her students to be responsible for their learning while providing them with enriched, meaningful learning experience. This tutorial shares with fellow participants a few lessons on secondary Algebra and Functions which are developed as e-activities, as a mean to investigate the abovementioned potential of ClassPad 300. The contexts of these e-activities are such that participants may study, analyse and decide the knowledge and problem solving skills required, and the instructor would facilitate the progress of each individual who work at his own pace. Participants are each provided with a ClassPad 300 and not prior experience with ClassPad is required.
