Abstract
The
best time for learning is learning right on the spot. The motivation and high
spirit drives the student to find a resolution for a problem in mind. It is
especially true that the best way to help student's learning for math problems
depends heavily on finding the right person on the right time.
For years, we are waiting for the last mile on environmental improvement in
this e-learning era. In this paper, we report about the state of art in our
experiental research experiences: Tutor on Line. The first section will be a
review about all the techniques we have in hands and the corressponding major
drawbacks. In the second section, we will describe the preset high standard
math learning environment in which the technique we adopted, and the pedagogical
method we used to promote students learning. In the last section we will focus
on three typical experiments that we have performed on different institutions
that all utilised the same TUTOR ON LINE concept in helping math learning students.
The students are from a junior high, a senior high school and a college correspondly.
The major results that we found are three folds. The first result is that platform
system we used is stable and the cost is effective, ecnomic. And the technics
involved are not complicated that everaged person will able to have a good command
on the system easily. The second result is the learning effect is encouraging
and will have great educational value worth for an extensive further exploration.
The final result is that we may conjecture that a deep impact on the concept
of math teaching will emerge in the near future.
