Method and Central Configurations

Abstract
Central configurations are restpoints for the n-body problem. We
apply the Fixed-Point Method and variations of the method to look
for central configurations. We will see some of the numerical results
that have been done by myself and some of my students using Java
and Mathematica. Experimentation with the initial guess, initial
conditions, and working equations let the students understand more
about the method and the nature of central configurations.
