• For a short-term Schengen visa, any foreigner who is not a national of a Member State of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland can request a Schengen visa for a short stay. The link is here.
• To reach the University of Coimbra by air, fly into either Lisbon (LIS) or Porto (OPO) airports, as they are the closest international hubs, then take a train or express bus to Coimbra, with Lisbon often having more connections, and finally use local buses (like SMTUC) to get directly to the university campus from the Coimbra train stations.
