Introduction to CABRI GEOMETRE II for Windows

Abstract
CABRI GEOMETRE II is a computer program for interactive geometry. You can perform geometric constructions on the computer as if you would use a pencil, a ruler, and a compass - but it is much easier with the mouse. CABRI GEOMETRE II makes it so simple to explore geometrical facts experimentally. The program's capabilities include:
- Euclidean and analytic geometry in cartesian and polar coordinates
- Testing of properties
- Simple recording of macros
- Animation for visualizing properties
- Simple construction of conics
We teach how to work with CABRI GEOMETRE II. We use simple simple examples, some of which provide suggestions for the educational use of this program.
