Teaching the concept of approximation based on computer activities in upper secondary school

Abstract

This paper describes now the math. course with computer system sets up new method of communication of mathematics based on its activit[i]es. First ATCM announced 4 principles related to those activities including "communicate new idea visually and experimentally by acquiring an idea across bef putting Language on." Specially, this principle is strongly applied to teaching the mathematical process as approximation, estimation and measure in upper secondary mathematics. Such a concept provides the concept basis for the define integral, derivatives, and some topics related to calculus. This paper will provide some approach by computer programs to teaching those mathematical processes.
