News

  • (September 19) We received more submissions than recent ATCMs. We only extend the deadline for the track of 'presenting the paper with abstract only' and 'poster session' to September 30 .
  • (September 19) We have the following confirmed exhibitors: Casio, HP, TI, Autograph, Cabri 3D, Maplesoft, Key Curriculum Press, Geometry Expressions, Jonathan Lewin's Math Movies , and Maplets for Calculus. Some titles and abstracts of invited speeches and hands-on training workshops are available here .
  • (June 7) We are happy to announce that the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology in Thailand (IPST) will co-host the ATCM 2008. We project the number of participants will be over 400 this year.
  • (May 21) The LOC meeting of ATCM 2008 was successfully held on May 6. Chairman of SSRU Council, President of SSRU, representatives from Permanent Secretary for Education, Secretary General Office of the Basic Education Commission, and IPST were present.
  • (March 26) ATCM 2008 is honored to have Secretary of MOE in Thailand, Permanent Secretary for Education, Secretary General Office of the Basic Education Commission, President of IPST, and many more to be members of the Local Organizing Committee.
  • (February 15) The ATCM provides University Collaboration opportunities for ATCM 2008 paid participants or institutional subscribers of eJMT. Interested parties may send an e-mail to 'atcm@mathandtech.org' for more details. The University of Hradec Králové of Czech Republic and the Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University of Thailand are currently in the participation list.
  • The ATCM 2007 successfully provided opportunities for the Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and the following universities from Taiwan during ATCM 2007 period: National Taipei University of Education (December 17, 2007), Chung Yuan University (December 19, 2007), Hsin Chu University of Education, and Chung-Hua University (December 18, 2007). We like to thank Drs. Yuan Yuan, Ming-Jang Chen, Ming-Gong Lee and Krongthong Khairiree for making all necessary arrangements.
  • The ATCM 2007 provided individual collaboration opportunities for Hitoshi Nishizawa of Japan and Lenni Haapasalo of Finland. Congratulations to both!

    "Enhancing Understanding and Constructing Knowledge in Mathematics with Technology"

    The ATCM 2008 is an international conference held in Thailand that will continue addressing technology-based issues in all Mathematical Sciences. Thanks to advanced technological tools such as computer algebra systems (CAS), interactive and dynamic geometry, and hand-held devices, the effectiveness of our teaching and learning, and the horizon of our research in mathematics and its applications continue to grow rapidly. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for educators, researchers, teachers and experts in exchanging information regarding enhancing technology to enrich mathematics learning, teaching and research at all levels. English is the official language of the conference. There will be over 400 participants coming from over 26 countries around the world. Be sure to submit your abstracts or full papers in time.

    The conference will cover a broad range of topics on the application and use of technology in Mathematics research and teaching. These include, but are not limited to:
