Introduction (Updated December 19, 2022)

The ATCM 2022 (atcm.mathandtech.org) was originally planned as an in-person conference at the beginning, we switched to a hybrid mode only in August of this year due to necessity. We have about 70 international participants representing 22 countries at this ATCM 2022 (40 of whom are in-person and 30 are virtual). In addition, we gave away over 100 free passes to people who wish to join us through Zoom. Surprisingly, we did not have many local teachers joining us at this ATCM 2022. We would have picked up additional virtual presenters if we have announced the conference to be a hybrid one from the beginning.
This is the first time we hold a face-to-face meeting since ATCM 2019 due to Covid-19. We are very thankful to the hosting university, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), to host the ATCM first time in Europe. We had the ATCM 2011 in Turkey, where it was considered nearly all of the country is in Asia (see ATCM history page here).

We are thankful that we have 50 presentations altogether this year, which are contributed by renowned scholars from all over the world. We are proud to present the special session, which will be presented virtually, from Madrid on December 12. All authors and readers are encouraged to contribute their favorite ideas to the next ATCM or publish interesting articles at the Electronic Journal of Mathematics and Technology (eJMT:https://php.radford.edu/~ejmt/).  Selected eJMT papers will be published in the Research Journal for Mathematics and Technology (RJMT: http://rjmt.mathandtech.org). It is always nice to renew old friendships, and also exciting to make more new friends at an ATCM.  We hope you will invite a few of your colleagues to experience future ATCMs for themselves.  We look forward to seeing everyone in person at the ATCM 2023, more details will be announced later.
