Workshop for Creating Simple Java Applets

Abstract
This workshop introduces basic techniques to create simple java applets, especially for visualization and interactive animation in secondary and college level. The participants will obtain basic skills to create their own math applets. The contents include the followings;
- An introduction to java applets.
- How to draw figures and graphs.
- How to create interactive animation.
Participants are expected to have some programming experience, at least one programming language such as C, BASIC, or FORTRAN. It would be also desirable to have knowledge of HTML.
