Abstract

In this report we study the forward displacement analysis of a special Stewart-Gough platform. The polynomial system describing the problem is solved by matrix eigenproblem approach using exact and numeric computation. The problem on the perturbation of the coefficients of the system is studied. A special procedure for computing the Gr?bner basis of such problem is presented to save time. Numerical examples are given.
