Abstract
The computer laboratory practice is represented, which focus on computing tasks of the group theory. Software system, which is used for the practice course, must envelop basic computing tasks of the subject; in a defined degree it should be associated with lecture course. Also it must serve for two purposes: on the one hand it is for the best understanding of a theoretical material, on the other hand it is basis for acquisition by students of some skills of practical work (to carry out evaluations and researches within the framework of the computing tasks of the group theory). In the computer laboratory practice such aspects of analysis of the mathematical structure "Groups" are represented: operations with the elements of group (evaluate string), construction of group on the genetic code, evaluation of group's power, evaluation of all subgroups, factorization of group on the subgroup, evaluation of normal subgroup, evaluation of factor-group.
In the software system, which is applied in the computer laboratory practice, such tools as multimedia, Active technology and wizards of various tutoring modes are used. It allows satisfying completely the requirements to contents of the educational course and to quality of tutoring.
