Abstract:

The TI-92, a relatively inexpensive hand-held computer with a built-in computer symbolic algebra system, will be used to show how the mathematics curriculum of the future will look. Appropriate examples will be provided along with hands-on experience with the TI-92. Topics selected will include differential and integral calculus and differential equations. No experience with the TI-92 will be assumed.
