Recently the Ministry of Education
(Singapore) announced the use of
scientific
calculator at the Primary School Leaving Examinations in
the year
2009. This workshop aims to demonstrate a series of
activities
on the use of the scientific calculator which the
facilitator
has shared among the Singapore Mathematics teachers.
Participants will have
opportunities to have hands-on experiences.
These activities will reflect the
use of the scientific calculator
as a
teaching and learning, problem-solving and project tool.
