Measurement of Effectiveness of e-learning Mathematics

Abstract
To enhance learning through innovative and effective
teaching, Mathematics and Science Department launched an exercise to award
for good module website. Students and staff were asked to evaluate selected
mathematics modules based on a rubric. The six-question, Web-based survey,
gathered nearly 250 students’ responses from the School of Info-Communications
Technology. This paper gives an overview of the key findings and discusses
some of the issues which may have affected the effectiveness and hence
the quality of a mathematics module during the critical period shadowed
by SARS.
