Geometric Construction and Elementary Analysis

Abstract

The demonstration of smooth continuous relationships can be difficult to illustrate using some computer algebra systems. Very often, students can miss fundamental and continuous connections because of the discrete keyboard entry nature of these systems. A practical solution to such problems is the use of Web based Java applets. In particular, applets are constructed, using JavaSketchpad, to explore and illustrate some fundamental relationships of elementary analysis.
