Existence and uniqueness of solution to the Stokes-Bitsadze problem

Abstract

For the stream function Airy stress function formulation of Stokes equations in the plane, boundary conditions of Poincare along with single point conditions are prescribed. Existence and uniqueness of solution to the Stokes-Bitsadze problem is then proved through div-curl formulation of Stokes-Bitsadze system (SBS).
