We are pleased to launch the Asian Technology Conference in Mathematics (ATCM) Taiwan chapter and its first meeting will be held in Hsinchu, Taiwan during December 17-19, 2011 (NEW DATES). The ATCM-Taiwan is sponsored by the National Science Council (NSC) and hosted by the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU).

Purposes:
The ATCM local chapter is meant to promote the exchanges of students-centered
projects where technological tools are being implemented creatively
in solving real-life problems. Teachers and students will gain valuable
knowledge in handling projects with up to date technological tools.
It is common sense that mathematics learning outcomes cannot be and
should not be measured only by testing or examination alone, this is
where project-based exploration could become life-long learning experiences.
Topics of Interests:
The conference will cover a broad range of topics on the application and use of technology in Mathematics research and teaching. These include, but are not limited to:
Format of the Conference:
We will have plenary speeches, presentations and hands-on workshops.
