Abstract

From the example of Saturn's rings, it is shown that an ellipse is a projection of inclinational circle. Next, we explain the way of measuring this inclination by projection geometry. Finally, we measure major axis and minor axis of Saturn’s ring in photograph for five years, and calculate the variation of Saturn’s ring inclination seen from the earth.
