Abstract

From the example of Saturn's rings, it is shown that an ellipse is a projection of inclinational circle. Next, we explain the way of measuring this inclination by projection geometry. Finally, we measure major axis and minor axis of Saturn¡¦s ring in photograph for five years, and calculate the variation of Saturn¡¦s ring inclination seen from the earth.
