Abstract

Plotting graphs is an important skill for every student. With the development in information technology, this skill is going to be replaced by a more important one - interpretation of graphs. The presenters are going to demonstrate how TI InterActive! can be used to conduct lessons so that the more important skill - interpretation of graphs, can be focused. In addition, exploration is always a time-consuming task in class. Usually, the use of a few examples is taken to replace the actual exploration work. We will show how TI Interactive! can be used to conduct lessons involving explorations. The plotting of quadratic graphs will be used as an example.
