Visualising functions of two variables with Cabri II Plus

Abstract

Thanks to the new tools of Cabri II Plus, I will show how to represent such surfaces in different perspectives using very basic knowledge about functions of one variable. I will also show a powerful model for representing tangent planes to such surfaces. Using colours for the sections of these surfaces with respect to the xOz and yOz planes and ability of modifying the coefficient of the perspective will permit us to get a wonderful visualisation of these functions
